Die Casa Mila soll heute erforscht werden! Auch ein Werk von Antonio Gaudi – sein letztes „ziviles“ Projekt, bevor er sich dann Vollzeit der Sagrada Familia widmete.
Nach wiederum nur 3,5 Stunden Schlaf und leckerem Frühstück – auch wenn ich es immer noch befremdlich finde, wenn mein Spiegelei mit Olivenöl gebraten wird – geht es zur Casa Mila.
Eigentlich ist es nur die ehemalige Wohnung der Familie Mila plus Dachboden und Dachterrasse.
Wir fangen mit der Wohnung an. Irgendwie erinnert mich die riesige Wohnung an einen Charlottenburger / Wilmersdorfer Altbau: Wände, Türen und Böden schön dekoriert und möbliert im Jugendstil. Hier lässt es sich bestimmt bequem wohnen.
Der Dachboden, der früher hauptsächlich Wirtschaftsraum war, ist heute ein Gaudi-Museum, das auch die Arbeitsweise des Meisterarchitekten erläutert. Am spannendsten finde ich die Vorstellung des Kettenmodels, das die Statik der Rundbögen erläutert, die ja auch in der Sagrada Familia verwendet werden.
Dann noch rauf aufs Dach – und schwupp, da hat es mich erwischt : meine Höhenangst schlägt zu ! Okay, den Rundgang schenke ich mir und setze mich auf die „stille Treppe“ in die Sonne. Detlef startet seinen begeisterten Rundgang über das Dach, bestaunt die tollen Figuren = Schornsteine und hat einen perfekten Blick über Barcelona.
Ich bin froh, als wir endlich wieder im EG ankommen und genieße auch nochmal beeindruckende Einblicke in die Innenhöfe und auf das Gebäude selbst.
Für den Abend planen wir einen Blick auf die Parade der Heiligen Drei Könige. Wo ist der beste Platz, um auch was sehen zu können? Die super freundlichen Hotelangestellten können leider nicht wirklich helfen. Sie meiden die Parade, weil es einfach viel zu voll sein soll.
Wir prüfen die Route der Parade im Internet und suchen uns einen Platz nicht allzu weit von unserem Hotel entfernt und werden dann mal versuchen, einen Blick auf die Parade zu ergattern.
Und tatsächlich haben wir Glück. Die Parade wird von einem privaten TV-Sender übertragen. In dessen Nähe gibt es eine Absperrung, an die ich mich lehnen darf und auch noch einen ziemlich guten Blick auf die Wagen habe – zumindest solange sie einen Aufbau haben. Und das allerbeste : ich muss nicht mitten in der drängenden Enge stehen!
Jeder einzelne der Heiligen Drei Könige hat seinen eigenen Wagen und kommt mit reichlich Gefolge. Es ist sehr bunt, fröhlich und laut. Einmal wird sogar eine echte Schneekanone abgefeuert und ein anderer Wagen schleudert Bonbons in die Menge! Das Spektakel dauert ca. eine Stunde – toll, dass wir das live miterleben dürfen!
